BRIDGeS

A simple model for problem solving that incorporates making decisions and taking action

The distinct advantage of the BRIDGeS framework is simplicity. The process consists of four straightforward steps described below.

Start working on the Problem Space with a Problem description. It is a brainstorming session to define Subjects and their descriptors - Benefits, Risks, Issues, Domain knowledge and the Goals.

After you are done defining all Subjects and descriptors, set the right focus for the Solution stage. Prioritize all Risks, Issues and Benefits not to waste time.

At this closing stage you describe the high level Solution through epics and the nested tasks. This will help you make decisions about product development faster and more efficiently. Try out the BRIDGeS framework the next time you need to make a decision - it just might help you find the best solution.
